It was a great party - THANKS!!

It seems as though the general consensus was that this years’ party turned out great, thank you all for your contributions, both of time and of money. From what I’ve been able to hear so far there were no injuries, people had plenty to eat, and there was no lack of entertainment. The closest estimates so far tally the attendance at somewhere between 400 and 500 people!

We’ve finally got a majority of the pictures loaded onto the site, click on the links at the right to access this years pictures. If any of you took some photos you would like to share with everyone, leave a comment below, and I’ll get back with you on how we can get them posted on the site.

At the risk of leaving someone out, I want to thank everyone involved in organizing and putting on this years party. Thanks to the Wellings, Morgans and Andersons for the entertainment, sound equipment, food and activities. Thanks to Gary Gibb for the rocket decorating booth; thanks to the Kitchens for the shaved ice; thanks to Jyl Read for photography; thanks to Dave Read for volleyball; thanks to the Wiltbanks, Blairs, Morgans, Adams, Savages and Chapples for the use of their yards and electricity; thanks to Tom Clark for all his hard work tracking people down to donate time and money, and for all his help cleaning up; thanks to Patrick Ward and Kyle Rootsaert for the fireworks show. I know I’ve left someone out, I didn’t mean to…thanks to everyone who helped out, we couldn’t have had such a great party without all of you.

One simple request that I have for everyone: please comment on this years’ party, whether good or bad, doesn’t matter. We want to make next years’ party a success and need to know what we did right this year, and what we can improve on. Use the comment section below to leave your feedback, thanks.
